Sriracha Avocado Chicken Wrap

Who doesn't love a chicken wrap? It's one of my sons favorite things to eat, not to mention easy to make. I combined my love avocado and heat, Sriracha. Need I  say more?

This is such a fun and easy meal to prepare for any day of the week, especially for a Friday night, where you an the family gather by the TV for a dinner and movie, remember those?

After long deliberation, my 7 year old son decided on Zootopia for our family nightly entertainment.  And yes I said deliberation, he's at that age where everything has to be compared, analyzed and carefully thought out, I mean it's just a movie right? But I have to say he did choose wisely.

Any who, lets get cooking. Serving size for this recipe feeds 4 people, you can always tweak this, add and take away as you go along.

Ingredients

4 to 6 thin slice chicken breast
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 hass Avocado

Sriracha sauce mix

2/3 cup Mayo
1tbs Sriracha
1tps Honey
Salt and pepper for taste

Sriracha Avocado Chicken Wrap

These are items that we already have in our pantry, I honestly think that's how I came up with this recipe. I did a double take of what I had between my pantry and refrigerator.

Lets talk seasoned flour, I've been using this brand of seasoned flour for years!!! It's by far the best one I've used, I love the flavors you don't have to add any spices to this mix. They say stick to the evil you know and boy do I.  This flour mix usually sold in most grocery stores. I do my grocery shopping at the Commissary and I've never seen it there, that's when I make a stop to my neighborhood Publix.

Coat chicken breast with seasoned flour, shake off excess flour place frying pan

Fry chicken on medium high heat for 5 minutes on each side.

After 5 minutes flip and fry for another 5 minutes.

Place chicken on paper towel to drain excess oil.
While the rest of the chicken are frying you can start the Sriracha sauce.

Mix Mayo, Sriracha and honey in a small bowl until well combined, taste mixture to make sure it's at a desired level of heat. If too spicy add a little more Mayo. Remember to add a pinch of salt and pepper for taste.

Place mixture in the refrigerator let cool until you are ready to prep wraps.

If you have kids they can help out with part, have them prep the toppings for the chicken. They can wash and tear the lettuce head ad peel the onion.
Chop lettuce, onions, and avocados ( adults only)

I figured since we're all sitting by the TV, remember dinner and a movie night, why not make this a fun platter where everyone take what they want to make their wrap. I doubt my son will try the Sriracha sauce mix. Hey, he's an adventurous 7 year old.

Don't do what I did, make sure you have the large wraps and not the small ones.

Made an attempt to roll these suckers, I'm horrible at wrapping, my husband on the other hand is a pro at wrapping tortillas.

Serve and enjoy, these are delicious with a Green Apple Vodka Lemonade. That's for another day.
